What is the Georgia Rodeo?

The Georgia Rodeo is an incredible one-day music festival in Athens, GA focused around an all-star music lineup. And yes, we do have a Nationally Sanctioned Rodeo happening, as well!

BYOB

Yes BYOB is allowed in the parking lot for tailgating, but no glass or liquor. Beer, soft drinks and water will be for sale inside the venue.

Why did The Georgia Rodeo Start?

We love events that celebrate everything that we love about the South... enjoying the outdoors with friends, incredible live music, and a can't-miss Rodeo! Our team started this event in 2021 and looks forward to an hard-to-beat 2023.

What if I just want to go to the concert?

Absolutely doable! Just come later in the day for this incredible concert event!

Where do I buy tickets?

Tickets go on sale January 18th and can be purchased on TheGeorgiaRodeo.com

What time does Parking open?

Parking opens at 12pm.

Will we have our IDs checked?

Absolutely. Clarke County Sheriff (as well as private security) will enforce all local, state, and federal laws. Under 21 and Over 21 will be wristbanded in different colors.

Can we buy tickets at the gate?

No.

Policy for coming and going?

No come and go.

Policy for lawn chairs, tents, umbrellas, etc.?

All is allowed in the tailgating area. Chairs are NOT allowed in the venue.

Bags/purses have to be clear and transparent?

No, but may be subject to search at the security team’s discretion.

Can I leave and come back?

No. There is no re-entry after you leave the concert venue.

THE PARTY

Can I BYOB?

Can I bring liquor?

No liquor is allowed (or anything in glass bottles).

Can I ride in the back of a truck?

Absolutely not. Sheriff Deputies will patrol the roads going into the Site so please do not get pulled over for this! All patrons must have a seat inside of the car.

Is there tailgating?

Yes! Get ready! Tailgate in the parking lot all day!

Can we leave our trucks overnight?

Yes, they must be picked up on Saturday by noon.

THE CONCERT

When does the Rodeo end?

When the headliner finishes their encore! 

Will there be food options?

Well you can't day drink without some great food! Yes, there will be food options! More details to come!

Will I be able to buy beverages?

Yes, Beer, soft drinks and water will be available all day inside the venue!

THE RODEO

What will the events at the rodeo be?

Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, and a Wild Donkey Relay Race.
